A couple in their 60’s who were, once, both scientists in the nuclear industry are living in retirement in a rented holiday cottage by the sea. The routine of their life is altered when an old friend, also a scientist, pays a visit. Behind all the banter of the initial reunion of these three colleagues we discover there has been a major disaster with the meltdown of a local nuclear reactor.
